I loved this restaurant. I am now obsessed with the concept of a fish boil. This restaurant is in a little house. You pay for your meal at the door... read more and receive a ticket. Pick from fish ( cod), bbq chicken , or a combo of ribs, chicken and fish. Cash only and prices range from 18-22$. Bring extra cash for drinks from the bar. Chose indoor or outdoor seating ( we sat outdoors and loved watching the fish boil prep near the warm fire). Take your ticket up to the line and get the main entree you selected and also chose from delicious sides of Cole slaw , grilled onion, and boiled potatoes. Fantastic. Super casual little place. Honestly I can't wait to go back. So fun and such great food!!!

8/27/2023Great spot, came here with a group of friends, it is all you can eat, the only downfall was that kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand, we had to... read more wait a little too long a couple of times for food to be ready. But staff is very friendly, prices are reasonable, food is pretty good as well.

The ribs were amazing but the fish was mediocre and could be better. The building was a great historic building with great scenery. All in all I enjoyed the restaurant... read more but feel the food leaves me wanting for more.

10/17/2022This was our first time here and we loved it! It's a cool old house and we enjoyed its charm. Some things we didn't find on their website that might... read more be helpful to know is they say they're open year round rain or shine. Also, they only take cash but they do have an ATM there. They offer 1, 2, or 3 proteins (all come with the sides and dessert and coffee). We tried the 3 proteins for $21.50 per person. It's all you can eat but 1 plate with all 3 proteins was more than enough. We read the reviews before going and we are team "loved" the food. The cod was boiled to firm which some may find a little dry but with the drawn butter it was so good! They say it's like poor man's lobster. To me it actually tasted better than lobster since I hate that bitter aftertaste that lobster can sometimes have. The chicken was juicy, the ribs fell off the bone, and the bbq sauce was so delicious. The potatoes were boiled perfectly just add butter and salt to taste and the onions were sweet and tender but still had a little crunch left in them, and I'm not even a big onion person. The bread was soft and fresh and the coleslaw was creamy and cold. The dessert was not too sweet and more soft like a cobbler but still had that iconic icing of a frosted apple square. Sodas were only $1. Not sure about cocktail prices but they had a nice selection. Seems pretty popular and they don't take reservations but the hostess worked hard to seat everyone without breaking a sweat. There's a parking lot and plenty of extra street parking. We will definitely be going back. Hope this info helps.

8/12/2022Fitzgerald's is a cool experience. It feels like you're going to grandma's house. When I was young I went to a fish boil in Door County and was not impressed.... read more I vowed to never eat boiled fish again. Well, I broke my vow at Fitzgerald's and I'm glad I did. Their fish is delicious. I liked all of the sides too. They were very dog friendly as well. The pups and I will definitely be returning.
